Morning Song

A robin built this nest right outside of my bedroom window. I was able to watch the mother coming and going and see the little nestlings waiting for her return.

I added the leaves at the top to create a more intimate atmosphere.

This painting was accepted into the OASIS Art Show which is sponsored by the Federation of Canadian Artists, Central Okanagan Chapter. It is a juried show and is part of the Okanagan Art Show and Inspiration Symposium.

Morning Song received an Honourable Mention Award at the show.
